A recent project of ours featuring fixed gas detection by MSR Germany.
Gas sensors are spread out across various laboratories over a RS485 daisy chain, including our Door Entrance Module (DEM) which is mounted outside every lab and scrolls through the various sensors for fixed gas detection inside that lab. DEM is especially suitable for monitoring rooms with dangerous gas concentrations such as laboratories, underground garages and car parks. It is based on state-of-the-art micro-technology for the continuous monitoring of the alarm levels of the gas warning systems DGC-06.
The DEM LCD is backlit & color changing to show green for “normal” and red for “gas leak”. Integrated relays for local audible/visual alarms & local solenoids too.
This turns one large system into multiple stand-alone systems using “zones” which makes it highly suitable for laboratories, universities and medical research building projects.
The system is connected over a Communication module which is designed for transmitting values from gas measuring systems or gas sensors to BMS or PLC systems that can be connected via Ethernet to a BACnet/IP-network. The DGC BAC-06 Communication Module is used in the DGC-06 system as interface module.
