The Laboratory PID (LAB PID) is a stationary photoionization measuring system suitable for the continuous detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with an ionization potential of < 10.6 eV. Being intended as measuring device for laboratory use, the system covers a broad range of applications in the sector of hazardous substances measurement thanks to its advanced design and compact construction.
The LAB PID meets all requirements towards state-of-the-art, low-maintenance and user-friendly photoionization measuring systems. This lamp provides a high stable light output and a guarantied life time for more than 5000 hours (typical up to 10000 hours).
- Measurement range 0…2000 ppm (ISOBUTEN equivalent)
- Digital interface RS232, RS-485
- Analog Interface 4…20mA
- 3 x Relay Outputs for signalization
The PIDS uses a hollow cathode lamp (10.6 eV) as ionization source. This lamp provides a high stable light output and a guarantied life time for more than 5000 hours ( typical up to 10000 hours).
The digital interface provides the ability to read the readings and various status messages, as well as the calibration and configuration. The RS485 interface increases the flexibility for use in industrial and laboratory environments. The LabView driver makes it very easy to connect the LAB PID together with LabView. Via the optional analog 4 .. 20mA, the wet compensated and linearized measured value is output in different areas.
We also have fixed versions of this detector with Zone 1 IECEX certification for hazardous areas.
